Chadwicks Group is Ireland’s leading builders’ merchanting company, with 50 stores and over 1,300 employees across the country.
The objective is for Chadwicks Group to build a more ‘human’ connection with customers, and their 1300+ employees across Ireland.
Taking into account the target audience, we proposed a weekly podcast that had the feel of a commercial radio breakfast show.
Key Results:
1. The podcast series was #1 on the Apple podcast chart for the first four weeks and remained in the Top 10 throughout season one
2. The podcast scored some of the highest social media interactions ever seen by Chadwicks.
3. Research by Chadwicks reported the podcast was seen as positive by customers, staff, and suppliers. A number of suppliers also contacted Chadwicks wanting to take part.
4. The podcast had high engagement rates with 84% of people listening to the whole of each episode.
5. The podcast won two prestigious awards in 2022. ‘Best Branded Podcast’ at the Irish Podcast Awards and Best Digital PR Campaign at the Awards Of Excellence event hosted by PRII and PRCA.
6. Under Construction was also a finalist for Best Podcast at the DMA Digital Media Awards.
